Community Psychology Cymru Festival 2025

Following on from hosting the BPS Community Psychology Festival in Newport, Wales last year we plan to continue a pop-up festival in Wales alongside the main BPS Community Psychology Festival event.

Join us as part of the 9th Community Psychology Festival with the theme, Untold Stories: Tales of Community Strength.

Humans have always told stories, to connect, to understand, to remember, and to consolidate shared ideas. Through our stories, community culture, strength, knowledge, and more, can be celebrated, recognised, and empowered.

At this festival event we want to continue to connect with others across Wales looking to work in a community psychology informed way where relationships, circumstances, social justice and human rights are at the heart of the work we do.

Building on and bringing the ambitious new Welsh Government Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy and Self Harm and Suicide 10 year strategies to life we want to share the great work already being done across Wales and create a space for new ideas, partnerships and projects to emerge.

When: Friday October 17th, 2025
